STORM COVER F.A.Q.
- 1: Are Storm Covers Durable
- A. Yes!
Every component of the Storm Cover is made from Premium Grade materials that have been selected for their durable properties. - 2: Do Storm Covers give Caravan Hail Protection?
- We do not give a guarantee against possibly hail damage because Hail is a governed by nature, but we have done our own tests and found that up to Golf ball sized hail we have not had any damage to our own test vehicles. Many of our Storm Cover customers have phoned us to advise how their RV, Car or camper did not suffer damage when covered with the Storm Cover after a Hail Storm.
In fact in our own tests Cricket ball sized hail only caused very minor dents to the roof our car and the density of our cricket ball sized was a frozen solid ball, hail is not as dense as water prozen over-night in a freezer - 3: Do you sell Australia wide?
- Yes. We do not need to measure your individual Vehicle to make a stormcover, for Caravans and camper Trailers we work from a Photo and a few basis measurements from you, for Cars in most cases we use manufacturers Blueprints.
- 4: Is this the Best Custom Vehicle Cover?
- We think so! A cover is only as good as the material that is made from, we manufacture our Storm Covers and also our farbic Custom covers from specially selected materials and our warranties show how confident with are with the products that we manufacture.
- 5: Is there a choice of colours for Stormcovers?
- Caravans, Motorhomes and camper trailers are avialble in Beige or Green, for some smaller campers we have Silver or White. All Car Covers are Silver or White
- 6: Is the price lower for Pop Top caravans?
- No, because we use the same materials to make the cover, so the same fabric and foam lengths are cut down
- 7: Do I make payment before manufacturing commences?
- No, We do request a deposit on order as we will order in the materials for manufacturing based on the orders in our queue. For Caravans we ask for a $300 deposit, for Camper Trailers a $150 deposit. This is non-refundable
- 8: Are delivery charges included?
- Not fully. As we send Stormcovers all over the country we cannot give exact freight costs but we do contribute 50% towards the delivery costs, if you are local you can collect from us on the Sunshine Coast. We can quote approximate delivery charges if you phone us
